- Raise the vehicle on the hoist and inspect Found powersteering fluid leaking from rack & pinion Need to replace rack & pinion and reheck
- Raise vehicle on hoist Remove both front wheels Disconnect outer tie rod ends from wheel hub Remove outer tie rod ends from old steering rack and pinion Disconnect fluid lines and remove old rack and pinion from vehicle Install new outer tie rod ends on to new rack & pinion Install new steering rack and pinion and reassemble Test drive for proper operation
