- Raise the vehicle on the hoist Remove battery and air cleaner Drain cooling system Remove hoses at water outlet housing Remove plastic water outlet housing and clean gasket surfaces Install new water outlet housing and reassemble Refill coolant and test for leaks Test drive for proper operation
