- Upon diagnosis , vehicle needs new intake manifold in order to repair the runner control valves inside of the manifold Remove air intake boot Remove all accessories connected to intake manifold Remove intake manifold and clean gasket surface Install new intake manifold and reconnect all accessories Clear codes and road test vehicle for proper operation- no codes are returning at this time
