- Scan for trouble codes Check for spark and fuel – no fuel pressure Check fuses and fuse links Check electrical connections Remove back seat Check power and ground to fuel pump – 12 volts Need to replace fuel pump assembly
- Remove fuel lines Remove retaining ring Remove old fuel pump and clean o-ring surface Install new O-ring and install new fuel pump assembly Install new retaining ring and reassemble Test drive for proper operation Starting and running good at this time
