Test drive to experience problem Check vehicle acceleration – surging Scan for trouble codes – none present Scan system data – #2 cylinder misfiring Remove #2 cylinder ignition coil and spark plug – both old and worn Test ignition coil – high resistance Need to replace #2 ignition coil and all spark plugs
Remove engine cover and access ignition components Remove and replace all 4 spark plugs Replace old #2 ignition coil with new ignition coil Reinstall ignition components and reconnect electrical connectors Test drive for proper operation
True drums or rotors, replace shoes or pads, pack wheel bearings & replace seals (if applies), Bleed & adjust. Test drive for proper operation.
Remove both rear wheel cylinders from backing plate Install new wheel cylinders and reconnect brake lines Reassemble brake components Bleed brake hydraulic system Test drive for proper operation

Possible due to low coolant and blown head gasket
Disconnect battery Drain cooling system Remove valve covers Mark ad block timing chains Remove cylinder head and inspect Check cylinder head for warp and cracks Check cylinders for damage Send out for surface and pressure test Perform valve job, surface and pressure test Reassemble cylinder head and reinstall Replace had bolts and torque to spec Align and reassemble timing chains Replace damaged timing cover with new water pump, cam and crankshaft seals Reassemble all components Change oil and filter Check belts and hoses Refill fluids Flush cooling system Pressure test cooling system Test drive for proper operation
