- Test operation – compressor noisy Install system gauges and check system pressures – pressure equal high & low sides Leak test AC system – no leaks detected Performance test Compressor turning but not building pressure suction Need to replace AC compressor assembly and recheck
- Raise vehicle on hoist Remove lower panel Discharge refrigerant from AC system Remove drive belt Disconnect high and low pressure hoses Disconnect electrical connections from AC compressor and remove old compressor from vehicle Install new AC compressor onto vehicle Remove condenser pipe assembly from AC condenser Remove condenser mounting brackets and hood lock assembly Remove old condenser/dryer from vehicle Install new condenser/dryer onto vehicle and reassemble Evacuate and recharge AC system and test drive for proper operation Blowing 38* at this time
